We are now seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Quantity Surveyor (no experience required) to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient cost management support to our construction projects. Working under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals, you will assist in handling all aspects of quantity surveying. Responsibilities:

Key activities and responsibilities of the role

  • Understand the contract requirements and assist with contract administration and correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive site records and site diaries
  • Understand Blackwell Cost Data Management System
  • Understand and review the Daily Allocation Sheet (DAS) for errors or omissions, and ensure that the DAS is coded in the Blackwell Cost Data Management System
  • Assist with the implementation of change control, management of contract, and identification/valuation of change
  • Administration of the commercial document and change management system
  • Compliance with company systems, administration and best practices
  • Providing support to other members of the team when required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
