A vacancy has arisen for a Health and Safety Trainer, to join our health and safety team. This role involves travel to our sites throughout the UK.
The Health and Safety Trainer role exists to develop and deliver SHEQ training within the Industrial Services Division, to ensure compliance with SHEQ regulations.
The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -
- Deliver both external and internal training courses to a diverse employee base throughout the UK
- Develop training courses on safety practices and regulations
- Educate employees on safety principles and the importance of maintaining a safe work environment
- Engage attendees during training sessions to ensure maximum learning
- Create informative materials for learners
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify specific training needs based on workplace incidents or changes in regulations
- Assist in managing the Safety Training Program for the Company
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and employee progress
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-
- Ability to plan
- Full UK driving license
- Level 3 training qualification
- Train the trainer qualified
- Significant experience as a trainer
- Nebosh General Certificate- (minimum acceptable)
- Ability to deliver IOSH training to IOSH Managing Safely Level as a minimum
- Good organisation skills
- Confident to deliver training to a diverse audience, with the ability to engage learners
- A passion for teaching, and health and safety
