The Planning Manager will ensure that project schedules are robust, realistic, fully integrated and aligned with the wider Sizewell C programme.\n\nThe role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to: -\n\nDeveloping and managing integrated project schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover phases.\n\nMaintaining Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes and ensuring alignment with project governance requirements.\n\nMonitoring progress, critical milestones and programme performance against agreed baselines.\n\nCoordinating planning inputs from engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.\n\nIdentifying schedule risks, opportunities and critical path constraints.\n\nProducing programme reports, forecasts and performance analysis for project stakeholders.\n\nSupporting decision-making through schedule forecasting, trend analysis and project controls.\n\nEnsuring project schedules are integrated with the wider Sizewell C programme.\n\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills\u002Fexperience\u002F attributes:\n\nExperience: Minimum 10 years' planning experience on major construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.\n\nTechnical Expertise: Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge and proven experience developing complex integrated programmes.\n\nQualifications: Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.\n\nProject Controls: Experience in schedule risk analysis, forecasting, earned value and performance reporting.\n\nLeadership: Ability to lead planning activities, facilitate workshops and influence project teams and stakeholders.\n\nProfessional Membership: APM, CIOB, ICE, PMI or equivalent professional membership, or working towards.\n\nRegulated Industries: Experience working within highly regulated environments.\n\nDesirable: Experience within nuclear, water treatment, process plant or major infrastructure programmes.\n\nWhat we do:\n\nS&B Utilities is committed to providing reliable and efficient mechanical and electrical services to our community.
