We are contracted to provide support services on behalf of Enfinium at their energy from waste facility at Parc Adfer.\n\nWe have a vacancy for an Operator to work as part of our team on site.\n\nAs an Operator you will enjoy working in a team environment, demonstrate a willingness to learn and will always be reliable and presentable. The work will involve working on a rotational basis during Monday – Friday with every 6th Saturday morning being part of the rota. All shifts are of 8-hour duration, consisting of early and mid-day start times.\n\nFull training and site induction will be provided.\nOvertime is available.\n\nThe role briefly encompasses the following duties: -\n\nOperate mobile plant (including front end loading shovel, forklift truck)\n\nCoordinate deliveries of waste into the tipping area (deliveries arrive by HGV), ensuring safety compliance is maintained at all times\n\nGeneral cleaning of the tipping area\n\nOperation of weighbridge\n\nOperate the waste crane\n\nAccept deliveries of other bulk materials used in the energy from waste process\n\nMovement of skips using fork truck\n\nSupport the daily operational activities of the energy from waste plant\n\nAttend training as and when required\n\nComply with all safe working practices as instructed\n\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills\u002Fexperience\u002F attributes:-\n\nPositive attitude & understanding of Health & Safety on an industrial site\n\nExperience of or qualified to NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) level for the operation of mobile plant (even if your current training has expired, as refresher training can be provided)\n\nA strong team player\n\nGood communicator\n\nPreferably, but not essential as training will be given, in possession of either currently or in the past recognised safety qualifications (e.g. CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) or IOSH (Institute of Occupational Health)\n\nAbility to learn to operate weighbridge computer software, as necessary\n\nGood timekeeping and willing to work overtime as necessary\n\nAs a Company we pride ourselves on our service delivery and professional 'can do' attitude and we are always looking for committed, keen, professional people to join us.
